Problems of Promoting Collaborative Management
Abstract
The analysis of the collaborative conflict approach is important from at least two points of view. Firstly, collaboration is the most
effective strategy of conflict management, and secondly, it proves to be useful both in conflicts involving problems and in
conflicts involving people. However, the collaboration strategy (as shown by a number of specialized studies) is not a priority
reaction of management. This emphasizes, on the one hand, the need for an analysis of the causes for which this strategy is
not embraced by management, and on the other hand, the need to identify techniques and tools that the collaboration strategy
can use in conflict resolution process.
