Abstract
The influence of the informational potential of place on the property is investigated. The theoretical relationship between the place potential (difference between the level of production and consumption of information in this location) and the value of the property at this location is shown. Statistically valid the correlation between the informational potential of places and the price of real estate on a comparative material of the Russian Federation is statistically justified.
