Abstract

I structured this study entitled ‘Multilateralism and regionalization in the second half of XXth century’ in eight chapters. Each of the first seven chapters is dedicated to one of the main institution and events that played an important role in the world economy:



  • the ‘Bretton Woods’ conference;

  • International Monetary Fund;

  • International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

  • the ‘Bretton Woods’ system;

  • United Nations Conference on Tariffs and Development;

  • General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade;

  • World Trade Organization;


In the chapter number eight I focused on the main regional trade blocks description.
